R.A.R.E(Remote Assistant Real Experience)is a showroom operation system that uses a combination of audio-visual, communication and remote access technologies. The essence of the system is the presence of a remote assistant in a physical showroom who helps customers anywhere in the world. Thanks to this system, the showroom becomes partially autonomous. The consultant has full overview and control over the showroom, helps the customer in self-service and in testing the products that are physically displayed in the store. Communication is smooth and completely natural, and theline between remote and physical service is blurring.

How does the system work from the customer's point of view?
The customer searches for the product on the Internet. When he discovers that he has the opportunity to try it out in a semi-autonomous showroom, he makes an appointment. The consultant will discuss the date of the appointment with the customer over the phone to explain everything, answer questions andmaximize comfort during the visit. The customer is then given access, a code that will allow them to enter the showroom. At the set time, the customer enters the code, opens the door, enters and sees a 1:1 remote advisor on a large monitor. After the welcome, the experiential visit to the unique showroom begins.

The customer has the opportunity to try the product, touch the material, get an idea of ​​how the product works, can ask questions and talk to an advisor. A presentation with product details is displayed on additional monitors. The customer gets to know the product thoroughly so that he can be sure that he will order according to his ideas and wishes. Orders can be placed directly on the spot and the product will be delivered to the customer's address.

How does the system work from the seller's point of view?
Before the visit, the consultant enters a dedicated, soundproof streaming room and activates the showroom functions: unlocks the showroom, turns off the alarm, sets the appropriate temperature, activates all hardware. Everything is remotely controlled using smart home technology. By the time the customer walks in, the advisor has everything ready and set up. In front of him are monitors with a preview of the showroom, a preview of the security cameras, and a preview of the presentation. The control panel is located directly next to the advisor.
The consultant can set not only the parameters of the showroom, but also the main camera and microphones, which enable direct communication with the customer. Everything is set up so that the advisor can focus on serving the customer, not on technical equipment. The visit takes place according to a carefully prepared scenario adapted to the type of products displayed in the showroom. If the customer decides to buy, the advisor has the option to accept the order already during the visit and agree on delivery details. Each visit must be booked in advance. The visit has a pre-planned time with suitable time reserves between individual customers.

Main idea
A premium product that is presented primarily in e-shops. There is a customer who would like to try the product in advance, because the nature of the product demands that you feel it, touch it, maybe even smell it. However, the product is not available in typical retail stores and setting up many showrooms involves significant costs, especially for a product that is highly specialized.

All this provided the basis for the development of the R.A.R.E system and the "zero" product was massage chairs. The entire system and the concept itself were developed by Rest Lords. In order to fully understand the specific and hitherto unknown properties of the chairs, it is often necessary to test them in advance, to try the massage on your own skin, which is something websites cannot convey. Shipping, assembly or returns are not as easy as with shoes or clothes. The dimensions also prevent the chairs from taking up aisles in regular stores. This is precisely why the idea of ​​semi-autonomous showrooms - available anywhere in the world (just like e-commerce), aimed at customers who are already interested in the product - was born >, not randomly, with reservation system, remote assistance, semi-autonomous.

Why not a regular showroom with sales staff? True experts who are enthusiastic connoisseurs of massage chairs are few and far between and indispensable to maintain the highest quality and reliability of service. Professional service can be available anywhere in the world, most importantly, it does not necessarily have to be in the same location as the showroom... and preferably at the company headquarters. The system also reduces personnel costs and provides full control over the company's sales policy.

R-ShowRoom is the first and so far the only project of its kind in the world, where customers can try massage chairs in a technologically sophisticated space with a remote consultant >, which is physically located in a different location. The showroom is owned by Rest Lords, which is the author of the concept and the coordinator of its implementation. In close cooperation with the company Brill AV Media, which was responsible for the design, implementation and integration of audiovisual solutions, and a number of suppliers providing electrical installation solutions, remote access, interior modifications or finishing works, it was possible to furnish a respectable space of 100 m2 with 12 luxury massage chairs. Inside the showroom special attention was paid to audiovisual parameters to make every customer feel as comfortable as possible. Special attention was paid to a suitable acoustic setting and the highest image and sound quality was ensured.

The entire audiovisual system has been designed and configured to best handle demanding applications such as object tracking, image cropping, speaker voice sensing and sound amplification. In the center of the showroom, a display suitable for continuous operation was mounted vertically, on which the customer can see his advisor in life size. In addition, two screens are placed in the room on which remote control diagrams or other information presented by the seller can be displayed. The room also features a rotating PTZ camera with 12x optical zoom that is able to rotate, tilt and zoom to optimally adapt to the layout and size of the space.
In the middle is a ceiling microphone with automatic coverage technology. The system has been expanded with two active near-field studio speakers with double bass reflex amplification, which ensures excellent sound quality and great monitoring performance.
 
Communication between showroom visitors and our employees takes place in real time, that is why a special streaming studio was designed and built at the headquarters of Rest Lords in Olsztyn. To ensure high streaming quality and smooth communication, both locations are equipped with a symmetric optical connection. The headquarters of Rest Lords has become a modern control and dispatch center. The studio reserved for online transmissions is equipped with monitors that transmit the advisor view and the view of the camera from Warsaw, a touch screen for controlling preset settings, a professional camera, microphone and studio lighting. Communication security is ensured using a VPN connection.
