The AV MEDIA brand has been successfully operating on the audiovisual technology market for 30 years.
All activities related to the supply of technological solutions for organizers of conferences, congresses, shows and similar events are provided by AV MEDIA EVENTS, a.s. The implementation of integrative AV solutions for customers in the field of education, public administration, culture and commercial sphere is provided by AV MEDIA SYSTEMS, a.s.

Entering the market
First employees and growing turnover
The company achieves a turnover of CZK 55 million and joins forces with DataVision Multimedia.
Interactive whiteboards for schools
A 1998 partnership with SMART Technologies, a leader in interactive whiteboards.
Entering the world of events
Since 2000, we have been renting audiovisual equipment, for example, for the Invex computer fair or for events in hotels. However, the demands grew and AV MEDIA gradually began to provide technical services for entire events.
We're embracing virtual reality and partnering with Hilton
We've not only adopted virtual reality at events, but we've also brought it to universities. In 2004, we reached a major milestone - establishing a technology partnership with Hilton Hotels in Prague.
We are turning into a joint stock company
In 13 years we have grown out of the "garage company" and changed our legal form.
Entry into foreign markets
We take control of museum exhibitions and other cultural venues and make them more attractive - with videos, stories and a range of clever tools. In 2008, we also expanded abroad by working with the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw.
Start of cooperation with the Olympic Committee
Olympic Parks, the Children and Youth Olympics or the T-Mobile Olympic Run. The very first project was the Czech House in London during the the Olympics.
Public administration contracts and the quarter-centenary celebration

Times are changing and AV MEDIA is responding with the online era. 4 professional studios are built in Prague.

Interesting facts
Why AV MEDIA
The letter "A" was right at the top of the lists, so the name AV MEDIA had a practical meaning. Plus, "AV" is an abbreviation of "audiovisual" and the word "MEDIA" was thematically appropriate to the business.
What was the first business plan?
Numbers weren't an issue back in the day. An idea map was drawn up, mapping out the opportunities - from schools to ministries to the military. It was envisaged that new technology would need training to stimulate interest. There were even plans to lend the equipment, which is essentially the same as today's business plan.
What was the first job?
The first job was back in 1992. A special spare cable for a SHARP projection frame, which (to our sorrow) had been purchased earlier elsewhere, was sold to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for about 3000 CZK.
