Retail Summit Conference 2016

The largest annual meeting of retailers and their suppliers operating in the Central European market met once again at the beginning of February in the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague.

More than a thousand participants at the Retail Summit 2016 were looking for ways to return the value of trading. The bulk of more than 120 speakers and panellists in their speeches concluded that value is created (or disappears) throughout the chain of market relations, literally from the field to the fridge. Retail, nor any other link in this chain, cannot be produce at the expense of partners - suppliers, customers or employees. The Retail Summit 2016 also discussed aspects of value creation in relation to all major trading partners in detail, from farmers to shareholders. The organizer of the event was the company Blue Events.

AV MEDIA once again became the technology partner of the conference

The technical and technological guarantor of the event has traditionally been provided by AV MEDIA, who fully equipped not only the main hall, but also three other small halls where there were workshops and discussions on the second day.

The main hall was prepared in such a way so as  it could be moved at any time into two independent rooms with their own projection and direction. The whole hall was dominated by a combined total of 8 independent projections, which together occupied an area of 204 m2. Six main projections were done by connecting Coolux media systems into one large projection or used as 6 separate projections. The remaining two supporting projections were used for the presentations by the conference partners. We used a Coolux linked with a Barco E2 switch to dispatch all content, including the bilingual presentations.

AV MEDIA also provided the interpretation into English, the voting system, video recording, the sound system and the park lighting, which pleasantly created the atmosphere in the hall. The podium was equipped with a lectern with a plasma display, microphones for the panellists, four preview screens and a timer.

During the gala dinner, which was moderated by Lucie Výborná, the winner of the MasterCard Merchant of the Year was announced. The accompanying program was provided by the Brazilian drum show Tam Tam Batucada and SKETY, a six-member vocal group.
