Living Planet Symposium 2016
The largest and most comprehensive conference on the issue of Earth observation took place in Prague and AV MEDIA helped technically ensure the event.
The Congress Centre hosted the international Living Planet Symposium conference from the 9th to the 13th of May 2016, whose main topic was remote Earth observation across different disciplines. Every three years the European Space Agency organizes a major conference about new developments in the field of remote sensing in some European capital, with this year’s symposium being held in Prague.
Results of Earth Observation missions in various fields were presented at the symposium. The conference focused mainly on key issues in the areas of environment, climate and meteorology. The event was attended by about 2,500 experts in satellite sensing and a globally recognized scientific community and foreign companies from more than 44 countries worldwide.
AV MEDIA created an innovative rear circular projection of the Earth, which became the visually-dominant landmark of the entire conference. Though it was projected on a flat screen, our engineers were able to create the appearance of plasticity of the image. We also took care of other equipment, including 32 plasma displays, which displayed individual presentations by the participants of the event.
