Doors Open Day at the Prague Marriott Hotel 2014
Together with our long-term partner, Prague Marriott Hotel, we arranged a joint presentation of options and technological trends for various events.
We organized the Open Doors Day together with the Marriott Hotel, where we presented the latest technological solutions for conference rooms, which are most frequently used in the hotel and showed the invited guests the latest trends and inspiration on how they can make conference and social events look more attractive.
Presenting Individual Rooms
The halls Bohemia 1-3, which are used primarily as the main conference halls, were prepared for the gala evening this time. Hall Bohemia 1 served as a room for welcoming the guests, with a cocktail bar and small refreshments. We presented an LCD wall with a frameless screen in Bohemia hall 2, which can immediately serve several purposes. They serve as an excellent tool for presenting and sharing information, but also as a unique decoration, which paints the background atmosphere of the room. Last but not least, the LCD wall can be used as photo wall, which participants will remember from the non-traditional entertainment. Part of the set-up of the gala evening was also an interactive bar, made possible by special technology that connects all objects put down on the bar. The walls of the hall were screened with thematic decorative projections in the spirit of the film The Great Gatsby. The atmosphere of the entire hall was underscored by thematic lighting that changes throughout the course of the day, giving visitors an idea how perfectly they can fine-tune the room for social gatherings.
The Moravia room was presented in the concept of Marriott Future of Meetings. The new concept transforms traditional conference rooms into inspirational creative environments. The way in which people work is constantly evolving and has changed greatly the over the past few years while rooms in which hotels hold conferences and seminars has remained the same. Marriott Hotel’s new concept has come up with a unique idea of how to create an effective productive environment for easy collaboration. During our open house, visitors could take a look at this new concept and to try out in such a creative environment. AV MEDIA complemented the concept of interactive querying on an iPad, and demonstrated individual work on the main screen using an iPad. New was the presentation on the web application Red Coat Direct through which you can instantly send any kind of request to the supervisor. Thanks to the easy application one can request supplement refreshments, an increase or decrease in temperature, change the room layout and much more.
In our Karlštejn and Valtice lounges effective communication using a video-conferencing connection were introduced. The guests communicated with each other using video-conferencing equipment between individual lounges and confirmed that thanks to this solution they could significantly save time and money while still having full-quality communications remotely, including sharing any content.
At the end of the demonstration thematically decorated refreshments were awaiting the guests in the lobby. We showed around nearly 50 guests throughout the day, mainly from the corporate and agency sectors, seeing a strong response in interest in our services. And finally, many thanks for the support provided by the Prague Marriott Hotel.
