Baumit Facade of the year 2019
On the 25th of April a modern Cubex Centrum Prague hosted a ceremonial announcement of the competition called Facade of the Year. This was the 18th edition and as a partner of Cubex we became the AV supplier.
The Facade of the year is a competition whose aim is to appreciate the quality and successful implementation of a facade building cladding and it has been going on for almost two decades every year. It is a prestigious and recognized competition in the field of construction, where contestants are judged by a professional jury of architects and designers.
Incredible amount of 201 buildings was registered for this year. The condition for participation was the use of Baumit products. The public tender was announced in five basic categories, which included the construction of a new family house or the reconstruction of a historic building.
In addition to the sound from our sister company RENTAL PRO, we had a 35-meters-wide projection screen with five projectors and many Robe lights. Outputs were managed by Resolume.
The overall setup of the event was efficiently complemented by ceiling lighting bridges, which are part of Cubex center equipment. Baumit has also used large-format displays to navigate guests in the foyer and has embellished the reception with video graphics of eight 55-inch displays behind the reception.
Very spectacular light show was followed by the highlight of the evening - the concert of singer Aneta Langerová.
The winning works in the individual competition categories were awarded the statuette Facade. During the afternoon, workshops on topical issues and trends in construction and architecture were also included. The gala evening was hosted by Ing. arch. Karel Kladívko.
