The first simulation classroom at SŠ

In December, we opened the first ever simulation centre equipped with SIMstation PRO technology at a secondary medical school in the Czech Republic, together with the Higher Vocational School of Health and the Secondary Medical School in Trutnov. This modern classroom, located at the school's remote site in Červený Kostelec, represents a unique step forward in medical education.

New Standards in Health Education

SIMstation PRO is a professional solution for recording and debriefing simulation training that allows students to practice real-life situations from clinical practice. The classroom is equipped with three cameras that capture in detail the progress of training sessions, such as first aid practice. The live image is projected onto a large screen in the next room, where it is watched by other students and teachers. The training is followed by a detailed analysis of the recorded situation, focusing on assessing the quality of the actions performed, identifying errors and looking for possible improvements.

Jana Berkovcová, Deputy Governor of the Hradec Králové Region for Education and Sport

"It is important for pupils and students of all vocational schools to acquire their practical skills in an educational environment that meets the latest technological and pedagogical requirements. Teaching with the latest technology is a global trend and I am delighted that our medical school is providing education to the cutting edge. Graduates will be well equipped to handle situations they will experience in their work and in real life."
