Our sister company, Rental Pro, provided complete technical assurance for Leonard Bernstein’s MASS.
Leonard Bernstein’s MASS was written for Jacqueline Kannedy, widow of American president, as the crowning work of this composer. This extremely complex work is composed for three choirs, a rock band and symphony orchestra and premiered in 1971. A special modified version of the project with Vojtech Dyk starring in the main role as The Celebrant under the direction of Caban brothers was performed in the Czech Republic for the first time.
The RentalPro Company provided complete technical support for this unique project. Yamaha CL5 and CL3 digital mixing consoles were used to provide the sound for the demanding performance, coupled in cascade with four RIO Stageboxes. A separate Innovason SY80 audio mixer containing more than two dozen personal monitors were deployed throughout the scene. Nearly 20 Sennheiser systems with DPA headsets with mics were used for the soloists. The lighting was nearly 8 meters high, provided by JB Lighting and High End System. Everything was controlled by a lighting console from MA Lighting.
