AV MEDIA WAS THE PARTNER OF THE BOHEMIA JAZZ FEST FOR THE FOURTH TIME
The Bohemia Jazz Fest, one of the biggest jazz festivals in Europe, offered a lot of quality music and AV MEDIA was there to see it through.
AV MEDIA was a partner of Bohemia Jazz Fest once again, which started on July 7 in Prague and then continued to Liberec, Brno, Tábor, Písek, Pilsen and Domažlice, where the concerts by world famous jazz singers and groups as well as new talent could be enjoyed free of charge in historical squares.
The Bohemia Jazz Fest is one of the biggest summer jazz music festivals in Europe. The festival was founded in 2005 by the acclaimed jazz guitarist Rudy Linka, who wanted to introduce and promote the world’s best jazz in the Czech Republic. We had a chance to see stars such as the Charles Lloyd New Quartet from the United States or the Israeli trio Niogi. In addition to jazz, there was also a stunning blend of blues, funk and world music.
An international prize called the Bohemia Jazz Award for artistic contribution and the popularization of jazz music has been awarded at the festival since 2008. The winners include John Scofield, or the American composer Ralph Towner. The festival has announced a competition for the best jazz song of the year in cooperation with OSA since 2010.

One of the key components when planning a similar event is the technical support and logistics for a long string of events. AV MEDIA has already become a partner and main technological supplier of open air events for the fourth time and fully ensured the sound, lighting, LED walls and covered podium, including the transportation, logistics, service and installation.
The flexibility of people and equipment plays a key role in planning similar events. Outdoor music festivals have very specific requirements from artists that need to be addressed immediately on the spot and it is necessary to count on this in advance. This time we managed to avoid unsolvable problems once again, as we started specific logistic and planning techniques three months prior to the event. It is necessary to follow a lot of things, including the weather due to rain and weather conditions and adapt the facilities that are planned. Even so, we are used to dealing with potential changes.
