Anifest 2013
The Anifest animated film festival took place in Teplice at the end of April.
Teplice is a spa town in the basin of the Ore Mountains; it is spread over nine hills with three chemical plants, dating back to the 12th century. This is the city where the 12th annual iconic Anifest film festival takes place. AV MEDIA was one again very pleased to provide the technical part of the whole festival.
An International Film Festival
Over the years, Anifest has become an important festival with international competitions, to which major creators and theorists from the field of animation come to. Like every year, the goal of the festival this year is to present the best of the current Czech and world productions and introduce significant personalities from the world of making animated films, both past and present.
AV MEDIA ensured 5 projection halls, including the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival. We installed the projection, screen and sound system in each hall, as well as interpretation where appropriate, even for the smallest visitors for whom the festival is primarily designed for, so they could watch even the foreign films.
A Rich Accompanying Programme
Given that it is a festival of animated films, a big part of the festival programme is devoted to children, including art workshops and workshops led by experienced tutors. However, the festival is visited by numerous students or older fans of moving pictures, and not only from the Czech Republic. A varied programme in the form of concerts, performances and exhibitions were available to both the children and also the older audience.
